MODELS NEEDED FOR LIPSTICK AND WILDFLOWERS AD CAMPAIGN

MODELS NEEDED FOR LIPSTICK AND WILDFLOWERS CLOTHING LINE
AD CAMPAIGN

Lipstick and Wildflowers is an upcoming New York area based clothing line making waves in the alternative lifestyle realm. The Lipstick and Wildflowers line initially came about after a growing demand for gay women, but quickly crossed over to include all women, for fitted, sexy and hip clothing. We carry an impressive array of high quality t-shirts, hoodies, knitted hats and bracelets. The line will spin off into two distinct lines in the near future which will consist of trendy tailored slacks, casual pants, shirts and jackets for the "Wildflowers" and funky flirty skirts, blouses and jackets for the "Lipstick". The line offers clothing that lets the sexy, sporty, flirty and cool exhibit whatever their style may be. Whether it's the femininity displayed by the Lipstick or the sportiness of the Wildflowers.

We are looking for models to represent our clothing line in our ad campaign. The studio photo shoot will take place mid to late November 2006, with an outdoor shoot in Brooklyn to follow at a later date. We are interested in attractive, everyday females of all nationalities with an edge, confidence, sense of fashion and versatility. No modeling experience necessary. We will use these images in our ad campaign which will be featured in alternative lifestyle and mainstream publications such as GO Magazine, Girlfriends Magazine and Curve Magazine; Lipstick and Wildflowers' website, blog and myspace page and various distribution medias such as postcards, catalogs, fliers etc. This is a great opportunity for exposure. With that being said, we must mention if you're not "out" you will be after this marketing campaign. If you're not living an alternative lifestyle, you may be perceived as living one. This is something you should consider if you are selected and take part in this project. We will provide pay for the day, free Lipstick and Wildflower products and 15% off our products for a year. There will be a rehearsal/fitting and meeting prior to the actual day of the shoot.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please e-mail Tonja F. Pretty Poison featuring Jade Starling
This award winning singer/ songwriter is best known for the #1 platinum hit "Catch Me I'm Falling" on Virgin Records. Along with co-founder, musician/producer/ arranger Whey Cooler, they are the driving force of Pretty Poison. This ground-breaking late 80's pop band helped pave the way for crossover acts such as Britney Spears, Christina Agulera and Pink. Jade has been increasingly in the public eye of late; Pretty Poison have just placed Catch Me I'm Falling in Margaret Cho's new movie "Bam Bam & Celeste," set for 2006 release. (also check out "10th & Wolf" starring Val Kilmer and "Lord Of The Fans" about the fan phenomenom that swirled around the "Lord Of The Rings" trilogy). Catch Me I'm Falling can be heard on VH1's "I Love The Eighties 3D" 1987 during the Jessica McClure segment.

A regular on the national singer/songwriter circuit, Doria Roberts creates songs that have been described as "a delicious, bohemian blend of folk, jazz and pop". Doria’s versatility as a songwriter and entertainer is never lost whether she is performing solo or with her band. As a part time activist, Doria has committed herself to inspiring compassion, social action and change through her music and various projects. She has been inspired by Nina Simone’s "Mississippi Goddamn", Odetta’s "Another Man Done Gone", Janis Ian’s "Society’s Child, Billie Holiday’s "Strange Fruit", John Lennon’s elegy "Working Class Hero", and almost everything by Ani DiFranco, and Patti Smith. The personal experience sometimes becomes political and the stage sometimes becomes a forum — a space not only to entertain, but to also inform.

Lisa Bouchelle
"A star of the future... and judging from the reaction of the crowd at this show, the not-to-distant future at that."
-- The Aquarian Weekly
A "petite female powderkeg" that can "fill the Grand Canyon with her voice" is how one magazine describes Lisa Bouchelle. A fitting description, as she was voted one of the top female vocalists in the world by the readers of Japan's Burrn Magazine, and in the top twenty in several other international magazine polls.
The young singer/songwriter has already created a buzz on the underground music scene, stemming from a duet she sang with James LaBrie of Dream Theater, as well as several other guest appearances with internationally known artists. These recordings have led to extensive critical acclaim in the underground press, and to live appearances at prestigious venues such as the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA, and The War Memorial Theater in Trenton, NJ. She has also sung the national anthem several times at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia before Phillies games, as well as at Waterfront Park in Trenton, NJ, home to one of the New York Yankees' farm teams.
